The ability to stack an imbalanced weight of your hip girdle evenly through the rib cage into the floor through an open and unrestricted shoulder girdle.

A deep opening of the Hip, and the ability to root through the standing leg so
you are able to our reach upwards through the Spine o hang off the top leg.

  • Brings great awareness to the bone structure

Energetically- Ida and Pingala work to their extremes. As one roots down, the deep relaxation of the other, will result in it being pushed up.

What is required to express this posture?

Open shoulder girdle and a relaxed and open Spine. This allows the energy of the floor to reach up and outwards through the extended leg. Hence the name- Forearm balance with outward reaching Energy.

  • Strengthens heart and lung connection to the floor
  • Opens Hips
  • Also strengthens Spine to Hip connection

Energetically-Allows the Heart centre to root down and open into the Floor, whilst connecting it energetically into the legs. Provides good practise to experience Tan Tien 1 dropping into Tan Tien 2. ( Hip space dropping into
Heart space).
