What they entail

Personal training or private tuition concentrates on the individual as opposed to the expression of a generic class. However the methodology of this style is systematic with the primary aim being a feeling of physical freedom . Time is given for individuals needs and questions to be addressed without distractions. I, as the teacher, hold the attention of the student on the area they've brought into question until they gain an understanding and familiarity with that question. Questions can range from physical limitations and the understanding/overcoming of them, through to the refinement of energetic techniques, achieving a handstand, or to simply improving your physique. This last 'need' seems in my experience to be a by-product of this practice so is not really questioned nor directly worked for. The outcome of practice is directly proportional to the energy applied within it.
Sessions are primarily a tool toward greater understanding of the style which, in turn, bring about solid foundations of self practice. The depth of the lesson is proportional to the students dedication/understanding but the aim is always to take the individual into a more direct relationship with themselves.

Where

Lessons taught by myself are from the yogamonks studio, or on the exception, from the individuals home. A central London studio is available where you can arrange lessons from my students teachers. All personal training is under my guidance either in person or indirectly.

Rehabilitation programs

For students with specific requirements, ten sessions minimum is recommended. This is best taken within a 3 month period as the intention is to re-educate physical habits and a commitment on both parties is essential if long term results are to be seen.
Previous cases include; Severe spinal problems, hip misplacement, shoulder, knee and ankle imbalances, migranes.
