The Treatment

Unless the practise of any movement form is learned from a true Master, the student will find that part of their body/form remains stuck inside its own limitations. Having seen this limitation in the ability for movement alone to release my students from their patterns of holding, I have found great success in releasing these patterns through the use of massage and manipulation.

What does the treatment involve?
The treatment involves an initial assessment of -
How the body stands inside gravity
How it moves through simple sequences
The expertise comes in recognising where the body is holding tension, over working/under-working or 'stuck' both physically and energetically.
Work then takes place on the Feet, Ankles and Legs. This is to begin aligning the body as our entire weight is falling through our feet everyday.
After the initial session, the release is carried up into the Hips, then Spine, Ribs and Shoulders.
Within each session, alteration begins with the feet and ends with the Head and Neck. The principal being to make sure you stand on the earth as you reach towards heaven.

What kind of Treatment is this?
The treatment is based around Structural Fascial work ( Anatomy Trains) facet and de-rotation work of the axis of the body and Energetic work.

Why should I have this treatment?
This work will deepen the awareness you have of your body and rapidly move you through any previously experienced limitations within your own practise, or simply the experience of ease of movement through your daily functions.

Having worked towards mastering my own space for the last 17 years, I offer you the opportunity of deepening the experience of space within your joints, the facets, your emotional structure. Most simply put, the beneficial affects of the work are truly endless.

Practise can provide the opportunity for expansion but, alone it will mean you will be continually working within your own limitations. Good treatment allows a greater experience of space that can then be embodied within your practise.
